What is your booking process?
1. Initial call to chat about your dream session (about 10 min)
2. Book and pay the session fee from your phone
3. Get all the info and help from me to make your session a success (Including a Welcome Packet, Wardrobe Consultation, and the option for me to pick the location for you)
4. Get your photos a week after our session!
When do you recommend I book with you?
The sooner you reach out the better! The fall months are my busiest time, so if you want photos during that period make sure to reach out 1-3 months in advance to ensure you get the date you want. During the rest of the year I’d recommend reaching out about a month before you’re wanting photos.
What time will our session be at?
The best time is about an hour to an hour and a half before sunset. When you book I’ll give an estimate time if your session is more than a week out, and then a definite time about a week before our session date. Here is a link to my calendar with approximate times. Please still fill out my contact form after looking at dates to make sure I get all your info! *Note that if your session is in the mountains your call time will be anywhere from 1-2 hours earlier.
Do you include any formal posed images?
Yes! I always start our session off with a formal posed image for Christmas cards and grandma, and then we’ll move on to the more fun stuff. Expect 1-3 formal posed images in your gallery.
What will our session be like?
My style of photography is more authentic. We'll do a couple of formal shots, but most of them will be more interactive. Don't worry about whether or not your kids are looking at the camera, most of the time I'll want to capture connection. I'll be sure to tell your kids when I want them to look at me, and I will direct you through the whole session! We play lots of games, take lots of breaks if kiddos need them, and just take things as they come. Want even more info? Check out this blog post.
When will I get my images?
A week after your session, I’ll deliver your slideshow first. This really helps you enjoy seeing your photos for the first time! After that you’ll get access to your online gallery where you can download the number of images specified in the package you chose, as well as order professional prints-yes, straight from your gallery!
