Ross Family Newborn Session | In-home Lifestyle

I loved this cute and sweet family. I think I say that about every family I photograph, but that’s because it’s absolutely true! Because of her due date and my trip to Hawaii, we weren’t sure if it was going to be possible to do the session before I left. But Quinn had her baby around Christmas so we were able to get it in before I left.

I have to say that I loved being in their home. Quinn has decorated her home in almost a minimalist way, and I loved the effect that had on the photos. It was easy to bring the focus right to them. They also still had all their Christmas decorations up, so it was fun for me to capture that little detail of their lives the moment they brought baby home.   

These two seemed like the most relaxed first-time parents. I feel like I was a mess after my first, but from what I saw these two were just fine. They were already learning tricks, one that I hadn’t even heard of before! It was so cute to see them just adore their little one.
